Harm Reduction
Harm Reduction refers to the promotion of safe methods in drug use and other risky behaviors. For example, needle exchange has proven effective in reducing the transmission of infections such as Hepatitis C and HIV among injection drug users.
Our harm reduction campaign seeks to promote education and opportunities to learn more about harm reduction, while advocating for greater harm reduction methods throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
